Delete Your Account

This page explains how to request deletion of your Raw Control account, exactly what is deleted, and which records are kept afterwards and why.
1. HOW TO DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT
There are two ways to do this.
In the app. Open Raw Control, tap the account icon in the top right corner of the home screen to open Account, scroll to the bottom and tap DELETE ACCOUNT. You will be asked to confirm, and — if you have an active membership — to confirm a second time, because deleting the account ends your access to that membership permanently. Deleting the account does not cancel the subscription itself: an active Monthly, 3-Month or Yearly Membership keeps renewing and being charged until you turn automatic renewal off in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. If you signed in more than a few minutes earlier, Google or Apple may ask you to sign in again first; this is a security step and the app will continue automatically afterwards.
By email. Write to rawcontrolapp@gmail.com from the email address associated with your account, stating that you want your account deleted. We will confirm your identity before acting on the request.
2. WHAT IS DELETED
- Your login credentials and authentication account
- Your name and email address as an active account record (a copy stays in the business record described in Section 3)
- Your training journal and everything in it — the trainings you completed and when, your own notes, your skill levels, personal records and your weekly goal — both the copy stored under your account on our servers and the copy on your device
- Your saved training plans and your trophy collection, including the date of the final trophy (one copy of that date stays in the business record described in Section 3)
- Your profile picture, if you added one (it is stored only on your device and is removed with the account)
- Any trainings you downloaded for offline playback, together with the space they used on your device
- Your access to an active membership, which ends immediately and is not refunded for any unused period — the subscription itself is not cancelled by this, see Section 1
Deleting the app alone does not delete your account. Use one of the two methods in Section 1.
3. WHAT IS RETAINED, AND WHY
For legal, safety-liability and accounting reasons, three categories of record are kept even after your login is deleted. They are referenced by an internal ID number rather than by an active login, and — because that ID stays linked to your consent record, which keeps your email address — they can still be traced back to you; they are not anonymised:
- Evidence of legal consent — the record confirming that you stated you are 18 or older and accepted the Terms of Use, the Health & Safety Disclaimer and the voluntary-risk acknowledgement, and when. This is kept as append-only, tamper-evident proof of consent.
- Membership and purchase history — which plan was held, what was paid and when, kept as a financial and accounting record.
- The account record behind the internal ID — the ID number itself, your name and email address, your sign-in method, the date the account was created and, if you earned it, the date of the final trophy. It is held in the private spreadsheets described in Section 4 of the Privacy Policy and in the internal mapping that assigns the ID.
We keep these on the legal basis that they are necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims (Article 17(3)(e) GDPR) — given the physical-training nature of the app — and to meet accounting obligations. They are retained only for as long as such claims could reasonably arise or such obligations require, and no longer, and are never used for marketing or profiling.
If you would like these records erased, contact us at rawcontrolapp@gmail.com. We will erase them unless we are entitled or required to keep them for one of the reasons above, and we will tell you which applies.
4. HOW LONG IT TAKES
Deletion from the app takes effect immediately. Email requests are handled within 30 days of us confirming your identity.
5. RELATED DOCUMENTS
Section 7 and Section 8 of the Privacy Policy describe retention in full. The Refund & Payment Policy explains what happens to an active membership.
