How to Learn the Front Lever Straddle
The straddle front lever is a horizontal hang from a bar with your legs straight and spread wide, a shorter lever than the full front lever and the key stage between the tuck and full front lever.

Front Lever Straddle technique
- Grip the bar firmly with straight arms
- Pull your shoulders down to engage your lats
- Brace your core and tuck your pelvis slightly
- Open your legs into a comfortable straddle position
- Lift your body until it is parallel to the floor, chest facing up
- Keep your hips level with your shoulders
- Squeeze your glutes and stay tight from head to toe
- Stay still and avoid swinging
