How to Learn the V-Sit
The V-sit is a support hold on straight arms with your legs lifted above hip height towards your face. It takes the L-sit further and requires exceptional compression strength and hamstring flexibility.

V-Sit technique
- Place your hands next to your hips
- Lock your elbows and keep your arms straight
- Push the floor away and keep your shoulders away from your ears
- Brace your core and tuck your pelvis slightly
- Lift your legs as high as possible
- Actively pull your legs up and toward your body
- Keep your knees straight with pointed toes
- End the set before your legs start to drop
